    “The Soul Selects her Own Society”  Upon reading the poem, I can immediately relate the soul as the great sense that every human being has to choose in the first instance the person they want to have by their side. One of the cases that I can use to be interpreted is in the line where it says: “I’ve known her -from an ample nation- Chosen One”.     Poem 1 The Brain is Wider than the Sky (“For-hold them-Blue to Blue- “& “The one the other will absorb- As Sponges—Buckets—do-”) These parts of the poem can be interpreted as the brain being incredible, capable of doing things, and has a great capacity to store, retain, and absorb ideas and thoughts. I feel that this is why the comparison can be made with the sea (this is how I draw conclusions and build up my interpretation) because the sea is very big, and deep and can “keep” and maintain anything that falls into it.  For example, when it says “For-hold them-Blue to Blue-“, it can be taken as referring to the thoughts/ideas that…
