Summary

What culler means by the paradox of literature is basically stating how you can write a poem to tell a story to the readers and be able to feel the writers emotions , as well as it being intellect with rich words or attractive words like something ryhming. In all three of the poems the authors are telling stories while also foreshadowing and putting emphasis on the emotions so readers can captivate the mental picture they are trying to paint. For Example in the "parsley" poem it switches from english to another language in certain lines which tells you the author is from a ethnic culture back round and painting the picture of missing his mother. The author seems to be a military man because in one line of the poem he is talking about what he is going to kill today but also remembering his dead mother and how she died making sweets , he no longer eats them but he does order them for his parrot who does like them. the poems are all very well written and i absolutely believe they are paradox's of literature
