Hi, I’m Mariana Jaramillo, I’m 22 years old, and I was born in Cali, Colombia. Currently, I live in Queens with my three dogs and my biggest hobby is cooking, I enjoy making desserts and mostly cakes. On the other hand, I study veterinary technology and work in a veterinary clinic, but I would like to work in a zoo in the future. I plan to finish my major and take the corresponding exam to get my license as a veterinary technician. Hi all, My name is Paul Fess, and I’m an associate professor in the English department at LaGuardia. I’ve been at the college since 2018 and I’ve been teaching at CUNY since I began my masters degree at Hunter in 2005. I also got a PhD in American literature from the Graduate Center, so I’m CUNY through and through. At home, my 6-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter keep me busy, but in my spare time I play music. Here I am with my kids in New Orleans, where we went to see family over the break. Notice my daughter’s resistance to taking pictures!
