Hey there! My name is Aaliyah Barreau I’m a pre-health major here at LAGCC. I’m looking to get into the OTA program hoping to become a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. A little bit about myself, I’m from Long Island, NY, my parents are immigrants from Haiti. I have my Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Health Science from West Chester University. On my free time, I like to workout, watch Netflix, and go out to try new places. My passion is to help those that are in need of therapy and recovering from their injuries. I chose to attend LaGuardia Community College because of its proximity from my home on Long Island since I’m used to being away and dorming. I’m able to commute from home and also work in between classes. Since I’m just starting off with my journey here at LaGuardia with a new career path in mind. I hope to soon be accepted into the OTA program.
